Shooting baby photography Sydney in RAW file format

By alexadcock

A lot of people as themselves whether it’s beneficial to shoot baby photography Sydney in a RAW file format. The answer to this age old dilemma can be slightly tricky. Several of the more advanced digital cameras today provide the option of saving baby images in RAW file format. What does a RAW file format mean essentially?

When you save the pictures you take at a photo shoot in a RAW format, your pictures are basically free of any editing. It pertains specifically to the WB or white balance feature. Pictures in RAW file format saved just as your image sensor perceives it. No adjustments have been made to the picture at that point; which includes WB.

Moreover, any and all white balance adjustments you make will be washed off the moment you save the image in a RAW format. Image editing soft-wares can help you turn the RAW pictures to a JPEG format during post processing. You also need some RAW plug-ins for this purpose making it possible to apply the color temperature you desire.

In fact, you can keep un-doing and re-applying the WB, until you get the color balance you are satisfied with. It is one of the main reasons why professional photographers opt for the RAW format in baby photography!
