Snow and Ice in the Carolina's!

It is not normal here to have snow and ice where we live. I am near Charlotte, and this was an interesting sight to see when most of the people here have no clue on how to drive in it.
We are orginally from NY and know that you just can't take off or stop like you usually do. But, try telling this to people around here! LO

- We got the same thing here in Hampton Roads, Virginia. I shoveled my driveway and sidewalks twice today, and then it started sleeting. Not normal from here.
By the way, I spent 4-1/2 years up in Plattsburgh NY.

- -2 here this morning.6" of snow on the ground........my kids got 3.5' of snow a couple of weekends ago just off the Lake Erie shoreline north of Chautauqua Lake.......where abouts are you from in NY
