I also got a couple new upgrades for my car, I got a sweet deal thanks to my buddy who sold his Sentra a little while ago to get a Mini Cooper S. I bought a Nismo Strut Tower Bar and a Mid Pipe for 120 bucks! Saved me a lot of cash since otherwise I would have had to pay a lot of shipping as well as the price for new parts, and these work just as well! I think next time around will be new body kit and a paint coat since I've been wanting that for a while now. But that'll have to wait till next time.
So my real point to writing this and hence the title of this blog *That's what you get haha!* is this story:
So there I was, on the H1 freeway going home with my husband after having dinner at Pearlridge's *Anna Miller's*. As you guys know I spent a lot of time working on my new car, and still am, tuning it and improving it and so on. Anyways, I was driving and this guy in a Honda Accord, with a loud ass exhause, drove up next to me. I was in the far left lane behind some guy doing the speed limit. When I saw him I thought it was funny to egg him on a little and I downshifted from 6th to 5th gear to make a little more noise. Apparently the kid thought I wanted to race and challenge him. So he downshifts and dodges in and out of traffic rather quickly to show off I guess and ends up moving in the far right lane with the least traffic to take off, my guess is he was doing around 80 in a 55 zone. I said to Damien: "Wouldn't it be funny if there was a cop while he's doing this ****?" and no ****, as I said that I saw a white dodge charger show up rather fast and then in a flash I saw the lights on the roof turn on and go after the kid in the accord. I think at this point the kid thought **** he cannot mean me so he's trying to get away from the cop dodging back into traffic and trying to avoid the cop. But to no avail, the cop at this point is moving traffic out of the way to get behind the kid and turned on the siren as well. He had no choice to move back out of traffic to the far right and slowed down to get pulled over. As I was passing him I gave him a grin and kept on going normally doing the speed limit to go home. I told Damien: "Haha that's what he gets for showing off!" and we went home. I couldn't help but laugh my ass off on the way home. I mean what is the luck of that actually happening LOL. His own fault though, that's exactly the reason why I don't show off, or speed on public streets, because most of the time you don't see the private cop cars because they blend in with all the other cars. Especially when you drive at night and all you see is headlights. Needless to say that made my night :)
Anyways, I hope you enjoy that little story. Until next time!
