I took my Trans Am to the 16th annual Cruizin for Kids Car Show in Mendon, NY today. The weather was supposed to be hit and miss thunderstorms, but we only got about 3 minutes of drizzling. Turned out to be a decent show. There were about 100 cars. Judging was by the Cruizin for Kids Car Club members. They had roughly 40 awards of excellence and 4 best of show type awards. I was lucky enough to win one of the awards of excellence. So far I'm 1 for 1 on the year - good start.

May 28, 2007 at 10:46 am: You had to wait until May 27 for your first car show of the season!?! I'm sorry. I hope the season lasts long for you. We had our first car show of the season in mid-April, about three days after a major snow storm.
