About “Olds Super 88”
Finally got the paint and body work done on her. Stripped to bare metal, fixed a few rust issues, and painted her with two-tone urethane paint with clear coat and newly chromed bumpers. More photos in my Albums.
About “Steele Cadillac”
This is the car originally owned by Lynn Steele, the founder of Steele Rubber Products. Not being able to find quality rubber parts for his beloved Caddy, he used his skills as a tool-and-die engineer to make his own parts...and soon a company was born. Today, Steele still makes parts the same way Lynn did for his 1931 Caddy...and we still have the car!

The 1931 Cadillac models were introduced in 1930 with a variety of body styles and power plants. Cadillac offered three models in 1931; the series 355-A (V-8), the series 370-A (V-12), and the 452 & 425-A (V-16). For the twelve-cylinder model that Lynn Steele restored, both Fisher and Fleetwood produced bodies. The Fisher Town Sedan was equipped with a 45 degree overhead valve engine, with 368 cubic inches of displacement. With five passenger capacity, and nearly 5,330 pounds of weight, the Town Sedan was an impressive vehicle rolling down the road. From the unique ornaments mounted on the hoods of these models to the metal floor boards that run along the sides, the 1931 Cadillac will always be a unique part of our automotive history, and a very special part of Steele's history.
