About “Little Toad”
I purchased a new 1960 Olds F-85 which would run in D/S in that year. Again Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins setup the dist. with an advance curve, shimmed the valve springs and worked the carb. over on the little 215 inch aluminum V8. A cut down '55 Chevy rearend housing and third member with 4.10 posi cured the original high gearing problems.
We had to run '58 to '60 Chevy conv. equipped with the 348, 3-2 setup because of the light weight of the little Olds per AHRA / NHRA. Won many trophies and money with this setup and had fun lisening to the Ford and Chevy guys cry....
The Oldsmobile, dubbed F-85, shared a new A-body platform, using a 112-inch (2845 mm) wheelbase and still-novel unibody construction, with the Buick Special and Pontiac Tempest. It was Oldsmobile's smallest, cheapest model -- some two feet (60 cm) shorter and $451 cheaper than the next-smallest Olds.
The "Power-Pack" engine was the new small V8, all aluminum, displacing 215 cu. in. (3.5 L). With a four-barrel carburetor, it was rated 185 hp and 250 lb-ft. Transmission options was a initially four-speed manual, while the rearend was still geared high with 3.23-1 ratio.
About “White In Night Satin”
This 1961 T-Bird was purchased new by the previous owner in Twin Falls, Idaho, and I purchased it from that fellow in 1995 in Blackfoot, Idaho. It has been repainted, reupholstered and the engine overhauled since I've had it, but I've kept most everything to the original appearance.

In 1964 the F-85 was upgraded to an intermediate sized car and the aluminum V8 was replaced by conventional cast iron six-cylinder and V8 engines.
The Cutlass was initially the top model of the F-85 line but became a separate model by 1964 with the F-85 nameplate continued only on the lowest priced models through the 1972 model year, after which all Oldsmobile intermediates were Cutlasses.

The F-85 had double wishbone front suspension and a four-link live axle in the rear, suspended with coil springs all around. Standard engine was the new small V8, all aluminum, displacing 215 cu. in. (3.5 L). With a two-barrel carburetor, it was rated 155 hp (115.6 kW) and 210 lb-ft (284 N-m). Transmission options were initially three-speed manual or the newly introduced three-speed Roto Hydramatic. The F-85 had drum brakes of 9.5 in (241 mm) diameter. Overall length was initially 188.2 in (4780 mm), and curb weight was around 2,800 lb (1,270 kg).
