About “Bad Belvedere”
This is my pride and joy. I have owned it since 1985, and have raced it almost that whole time. I Run the car in Super/Pro. My best time was 9.74 in Topeka Kansas. It ran 10.30s at Bandimere Speedway.I run the Bad Machine at Bandimere Speedway And Pueblo Motor sports park. in Colorado.
On April 28th of this year I had a very unfornate Accident. A Milidon external oil pump gasket to the external line failed on a run. At the top end of the track.Oil dumped under my slick. The car turned hard right hit the wall rolled then hit the other wall than fliped back on its wheels.The cars body is a total loss, The drive train was good. I was very lucky and walked away. I was beat up but no broken bones. This is The worst thing that could happen to a Drag racer,and it happened to me. The Belvedere will be missed.
I am planing to build a 1964 Fury. I will post pictures as the car is put together. Most of the parts will interchange so the heart of the Belvedere will live.

Pistons w/ Thermal Conductive Ring, Chrome Moly Rings.
The 401 RODS, have been reconditioned Bushed for full floating
pins,with spiral locks. Mildon Bolts & Nuts installed.
The MAINS, have Mildon Studs & Nuts Installed
CRANKSHAFT: Has been Magged, Crossdrilled, Chamfered,
Nitrided & Polished. The assembly has been completely
Balanced Externally Front to Rear. The DECK has been O-
RINGED ( Stainless Steel). New Main,Rod, & Cam Bearings
installed. Hi-Perf. Camshaft 474 Lift - 288 Dur. New Guides,
Hi-Perf. Valve Job, Comp Cam Springs, 10 degree retainers &
locks. Intake is an AMC Elderbrok Torker II with a 4150 series
Holley.A Centerforce II Clutch assembly gets the Horses too
the factory 4.10's Assembled and installed 4/07 FRESH
Run's Like a Cat with it's Tail on FIRE !
