About “My Bird”
Back in the 1971 while I was setting by a window of a Navy chartered bus that was returning me and rest of the USS Ethan Allen SSBN608 crew back to the Naval Submarine Base, Groton CT, after being deployed to Spain. A 1971 Trans Am with the Girl of my Dreams flew by us. Much to my and the other 50 guy’s delight, she slowed down and let the bus pass her. This was when I really got a good look at the CAR. The rest is history. I didn’t get the Girl but I got the CAR 19 years later. I have had this car now for a little over 23 years. During that time I have spent more time and money than I care to admit maintaining and restoring her. I know you understand that once you’re behind the wheel it just doesn’t matter how much time or money you have spent. It’s all about you and your car.

I was looking for a 4th generation TA that was the top of the line and you cant get much better that the Firehawk option.
