About “G60 Bunny”
This was my daily driver for a couple years, delivered pizzas with it and drove it very hard. It had a pretty much stock G60 motor (supercharged 1.8 from Corrado) in it and would run 14.00's (14 flat, 14.006, etc) in the quarter very consistently despite traction issues. Handled great, was very reliable and VERY fun!
I ended up dismantling it to build the drag car that is also in my garage. To this day its still one of my favorite cars. My Lotus reminds me of the feelings that car gave me, as odd as it sounds both cars are pretty similar to each other as far as driving feeling.
About “GTI”
First new car I have purchased. Its been pretty reliable so far... I have a 80 mile round trip commute so its already at 48k after 27 months of ownership. I dont really plan much for this car. I did the suspension, bough some wheels with good rubber for the summer, replaced the factory head unit, had the GIAC software done plus added a boost gauge. Prior to the software it would spike 11 psi or so then hold 8. Now it spikes about 20 then holds about 18 psi then starts dropping off. Its defenitely a huge difference.
