Let me start off by saying that this car actually gets raced. I've taken it to quite a few autocrosses. Last time out, I was beating about 60% of the WRX's in the field, with a 3700lb curb weight. Plans for next year include road racing at summit point.
This is my first car, and I have had it for 3 years now. It served as my daily driver for the first two years until I got my other car, the 1991 corolla that is still in my virtual garage here. This car is my pride and joy, and I have invested over 20k into it, including the initial purchase price of 2400.

Last time to the track indicated somewhere slightly north of 300 RWHP which means about 340+ at the crank.

About “Badass LT1”
This is my 1997 Chevy Camaro Z28 30th. When I bought this car I was actually not into cars at all, I had no intentions to modify this car at all. I have owned this car since Decmber 5th of 2005. In the last year I have put 315 miles on her by taking her to car shows, and cruise nights. All the modifications were done by me, and by the help of a family friend who works on cars, and who is currently restoring a 52 chevy pickup into a hotrod. The car came from AutoExtocia in Ohio. I paid 9k for this car, it had 68,200 on it and now it is at 73,489. My furture plans are to put possibley a cam in this car with a full kit from Thunder Racing. I have done a rear seat delete cause I like to only carry one passenger at a time. I wash my car always by hand and try to in the cool shade. When I am not driving it, it sits in my garage with a car cover over her at all times. From the first week following December first my car goes into storage until April 3rd which is my b-day. I dynoed my car stock at Dynosport of Lincoln, NE and it did 245 and 270. Once the long tube headers were installed by me, I re-dyoned and it jumped to 266 and 294.
