About “Anger”

A $600 running driving 4wheel drive truck with working 4 wheel drive? That's what this was. It's almost as rusty as you could imagine. The floors were surprising rust free but the fenders, box sides, and the hole in the drivers door were another story. It put up with tons and tons of abuse, hitting trees while off roading, being dropped off a ledge, bending the driveshaft and being driven home like that, backing into a tree while off roading, twice laying up against a wall in a tight spot. But it treated me well and never left me stranded more than a half a block from my house.

The paint job is a result of deciding I was going to spray paint it. I asked my friends their opinions. I was thinking flat black with some flames or racing stripes in a fluorescent color or fluorescent with the fluorescent design. Then my friend Joe gave me the idea, the P-40 fighter plane shark mouth. It was intended to be on a fluorescent blue base but that color didn't cover well enough to paint the whole truck with it so after one coat that idea got scraped for the flat black.
