The Turbo Trans Am.. fastest production Trans Am ever built! Powered by a Buick Turbo 6 (Grand National Motor) and designed to look like any other GTA... until the light turns green.
Only 1,555 were built and there were no options- all were loaded...and a $31,245 in 1989 they better be, For the same money you could have bought TWO 5.0 liter Mustangs. this is car number 830... and with only 11,500 original miles,

3.8 liter Buick V6 ,Turbocharged & intercooled, produces 255 bph, 10 more bph than the equivelant engine in the Grand National. 0-60 5.5 sec, 1/4 mile 13.5 sec (bone stock). 700R4 4 speed auto was the only transmission offered in these cars.
GM grossly understated he horsepower so thier Corvette would not lose its position as the top performer (on paper). There were also lots of color choices.. as long as it was white and camel interior.

Loaded! T Tops, AM/FM Cassette w/ steering wheel controls, cruise, air, tilt, power rear hatch, leather seats. Buyers of the TTA also recieved a kit with the optional door & window decals and special Turbo manual, keychain, cassette, and window decal. These rare "pizza boxes", in orignal condition and complete, have sold for over $1000 on eBay!
