Isn't it funny how, when you're not even looking for a car, one comes along that you just HAVE to buy? That's the way it was last week. I was out on a parts run for the shop and saw this monster for sale at a local service station/car wash. It was love at first sight, even though I've never even considered a truck like this before! I justified it by putting it in my shop's name and telling myself that it would become the new shop truck..... Yeah, right!
About “betty”
I always wanted a diesel pickup. Found this one on the internet for sale at a car lot almost 2 hours away from home. It was a 7.3 turbo at a fair price so I had to get a look at it. I decided I had to have it after a test drive.
Specs for “The BEAST”
I haven't even had it long enough to know for sure what it has, what company made the parts, who installed them, or when. All I know is that it sounds downright WICKED, has a better ride than I would have guessed, and goes like a scalded cat! I don't know for sure what all's been done to it's 454 cid big block engine, but it's a MONSTER!
