2003 Chevrolet Cavalier
1955 Willys CJ5A
Head to Head
This is accuality the 2nd Cavalier i bought after the black one had been totalled. I dedicated this car to the loss of my youngest sisters life (unfortunatly she was in the black car when it got totalled). I made a promise to my sister, b/c she claimed the other car to be the "cool car", that the next one would be even "cooler". So i modified the car as much as i could, and before i got the chance to buy the turbo, i found out i had a child on the way. So basically the picture you see here is the last of the mods that were done to the car.
This Willys was built in Sacramento (converted) by Central 4 wheel drive. Lived in Tennesee for many years until the guy I bought it from brought it to Bend, OR. He let it rot in his backyard for the last ten years or more until I answered a cracklist ad for a dirt bike, bought the bike and then I was like: "Whadaya doing with the Willys?" The rest is history and it is in the shed! 1955 is the first year of the CJ5A body style and was branded "Willys" in 1955, then "Jeep" from 1956 on up. The CJ5 is pretty much the same 1955 through like 1978ish???
