Head to Head

About “The Black Stallion”

This was my family car AND my pride and joy... until it got wiped out by a semi in bumper-tp-bumper traffic on I-95 in Philly about a year ago. Trafgfic was moving at about 25 mph, and he just didn't slow down for it - must have been in a hurry! I was the third car from the tail end of the chain reaction crash that totalled nearly a dozen cars, killed a pregnant woman and a senior couple and sent 6 others, including myself, to the hospital. The truck driver was shook up but almost completely uninjured...

Once I got out of the hospital, I needed wheels, so that's where my Boxster comes into the story. I had the G.P. because we had a couple of teenagers, but they're both in college now, so we don't need two cars with back seats! My wife's Camry will do for that! I really hated for the Pontiac to go, since it was a quick, comfortable sedan, and I had personalized it to my taste, but since I'd always wanted a Porsche and could afford it, I replaced it with one!

About “Eileen”

i saved up my money for ever to get my first car, i recently visited my cousin and he had a 1995 monte carlo LS sitting in his drive way tht had been sitting there for the past 5 years, i bought it for 2 grand and it was the best money ever spent, the car only had 53,695 miles on it and runs like new.
