   My buddy Tom has a 1966 Chevelle that took him eight years to build that he takes to many Pro-Touring events every year. The car has been on the road since Memorial Day weekend 2010 and has over 12,000 street driven miles! Last weekend he traveled from Indy to San Marcos, Texas to participate in the Run To The Alamo event and did well enough to finish in the top five (actually top three of those eligible) which gives him a chance to be selected to attend the 2012 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational following the SEMA show in Nevada.
   
   So, now it becomes a popularity contest with the other four qualifiers. The voting ends this Saturday and it's going to be very close. All votes will definitely help his Chevelle get selected. If you're a facebook user he could use your vote. He has put so much time and work into this, I sure would like to see him win. For that reason I am posting this in hopes some of those here in Motortopia can help. Appreciate it if you can. Just go in and click the button next to his name. That's all there is to it.
