Topic: What was your family car when you were growing up?
#51 Apr 21, 2010 at 1:45 amLet's see, growing up I remember my mom having a 1970 impala, a 70 chevelle, a 76 Electra 225. My dad had a 63 GMC pickup and when they got divorced when I was 5, My dad thought it would be nice to knock down all the mailboxes in the neighborhood, luckily the City PD arrested him after he just got our street and all this happened on Valentines day. The police asked him if Roses wouldn't have been a better idea??

It had a 351 C in it with US slotted Mags. we traveled from so cal to IL. zig zagging the whole way across the states and into Canada. Stayed at KOA Campgrounds and in motels. It was a nice ride for sure.
