I was pretty upset at work 'cause one of the guy's started stepping on peoples toes to make more money. It seemed he really didn't care who he hurt to get his way. Well I was driving doing my deliveries and started talking to the Lord to gain strength for forgiveness toward this person. The Lord aked me "are you happy?" I said " yes" He asked me "don't you have everything you want?" I said "Pretty much" Then he aked me the question that made me think different about the situation........ "what are you so mad at then?" I'll deal with him in time, you stay on your path and you'll have nothing to worry about.I asked for forgiveness and he fixed thing's at work.........believe me, he really fixed it! So next time things start to heat up, just remember.....God is in control!!!

    God bless you all, Buddyluv!!!

I can identify with your situation. The boss over my immediate supervisor is a difficult person. To put it simply, he has no people skills and therefore no one likes him. He has ripped on me a couple times for things others had done wrong. So, I went on the premise that the guy probably has no friends, since no one likes him. So, I started saying "hello" to him when I pass him in the halls and even have managed to work up a smile (albeit a weak one) for him once or twice. Nothing has changed. But like Buddyluv, I have a peace in my heart at work. He doesn't make me mad so easily like everyone else. Now I have to work on not joining in the gossip when people talk about him.

God has his way of bringing home the fact that we all are His children, even if some may be more difficult than others. I had an incident at work myself last year. I have Bi-Polar Disorder (Manic-Depressive to you Old-Schoolers) complicated with a major dose of Clinical Depression. I have attacks at unpredictable times, and they hit with very little warning. You know, I'll be fine one minute, and a 270 pound sobbing mass of jelly the next. I had an attack during my first break that day, just sitting at a table in the break room chatting with a pleasant woman I worked with a few years ago. Suddenly, it just hit. She had no idea what to do, but a woman at the next table, a supervisor, did. Although she was a Christian, she and I didn't see eye-to-eye on many things, mostly her supervisory methods. She went right into action, spoke to me calmly and soothingly, and offered to help me to the Supervisor's break room (normally off-limits to us regular working types). Once there, she told the other supervisors to clear out, that I needed the room. She got me a damp cloth and a box of tissues, and put in a call to my wife. Without the Lord working through Nicole, I wouldn't have come out of the situation as well or as soon as I did. As it was, I missed three days of work. My first day back, my immediate supervisor tried reading me out for leaving without filling out the required paperwork. Well, Nicole was in the room at the time, and she read HIM out! Keep in mind, this guy had more than 10 years seniority on Nicole, and was acting shift superintendant (the guy in charge of the entire plant) that day. Later that day, I made a point of taking her aside and thanking her for all she did for me. I then went on to ask her forgivenness for my attitude towards her in the past. Since then, it has been totally different between her and me. Through God working through Nicole, I have a new friend.

That's exactly what I have found out. When we stay on our path's. We end up changing others by our examples, and that to me is all the works of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world!

Thank you for the wisdom Lord!
And thanks guy's for the responses, God is love!
