Well, it didn't last long, my departure from owning a Corvette. Back in August, I traded in my beloved 01 Z06 on a 2007 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T, due to my wife and I getting ready to adopt a child from the State of Florida. At the end of October, my parents and my wife's parents were killed in a tractor trailer accident in North Carolina. We are both trying to cope with this tremendous loss.
Last week, I received a PM from a fellow Charger owner, asking for some help from me as his father-in-law was looking at selling his 1986 Corvette. The price was right ($3800) for me to jump on it and I bought it! It is white with blue interior. The interior is trash, so I will be replacing it to be black with red carpet. The exterior is in perfect shape and it recently was repainted. My plans with the car are to have the motor and transmission rebuilt to put out insane horsepower (I want a low 11 sec car) and have a 6 point cage installed. I hope to have the car done by May, so I can start racing it. This car is a tribute to our parents.2007 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T
