I still believe that that kind of stuff needs to be on a track!!!! No matter how innocent it may seem accidents can and do happen!!! I cant see putting any of the blame on the driver!!! Anyone knows when you take a car out of its normal operating procedures that the risk is greater for all involved. So therefore the ones putting on the event should have considered this and took more precautions!!!! Like I said at the beginning!! KEEP IT ON THE TRACK!!!!! Just my Two Cents!!!!

Learning is the most important thing we can do after this tragedy. The folks responsible for the show are still devestated, and i cant imagine how the families are dealing with this, but my thoughts and prayers go out to all involved. There were measures taken to try to keep this from happening and this is proof that they werent enough.
We all enjoy a good burn-out, but for the safety of all, we should definately reconsider how these are conducted.MattP

I'm so saddened to hear about this. But it happened. We can't change the past. We can only grieve over the loss of life. My condolences to the families and friends of the victims and all parties involved. The only thing we can do now is look for ways to prevent it from happening again. There will always be risk of danger. The only thing we can do is minimize the risk to spectators if an accidental loss of control or mechanical frailer should occur.
