I have a 1946 chevy pickup that I am restoring. It has the original straight six in it. The engine was stuck when I first took possesion of it. I put some Marvel mystery oil down the cylinders and that seemed to free things up. It now turns over but will not start. I have replaced the points, plugs, rotor button, condenser and plug wires as well as the fuel pump and coil. I seem to be getting gas and spark. Not sure what to do next. My battery wires as well as the ground to the engine seems to be a bit ratty. I have heard that may rob just enough voltage to keep it from starting. Is this true? Any ideas??? -
