I was looking online for a pioneer GPS systems for my toyota and i have found this system http://www.so...+AVIC-Z2.html

I haven't really heard of it, but found a review on CNET: http://review...-6684020.html
They seemed to like it. Sounds like all the mapping data is stored on an on-board hard drive on the device. I wonder if it's something you can update? I used a Garmin nav unit on vacation in Florida this summer, and it had a SIM card you can plug into the unit to gain access to new maps. I wonder if you can do the same with the Sony GPS unit?Motortopian. Lover. Code Geek.

I have a AVIC-D3 system in my ride and when you want to program a destination in you have to install the dvd ,program the thing and then remove the dvd. kinda a pain -
