    I see that the events have changed so that you don't have to duplicate efforts when you want your club's event listed on the main page. Great...now how about doing it in reverse? Meaning this: say there's an event on the main page that your club wants to participate in. There needs to be a way to "add" that existing event to the event calendar of the club/group.

    A car show would be a great example...a local car show sponsored by a particular club or group...it would be part of their club page, but say there's another club who would like to also attend the show and make it an official club function. They can't do that without duplicating their efforts and re-inputting all the information again under their club...

    Or another example of a moderator for a club and a group...two seperate groups on motortopia, but a single event that will be attended by both clubs...Yes you can enter it in one club and list it on the main events page, but there's no way to add it to the other group's events without re-entering all that information again.

    There should be a way to enter that information just like you can link photo albums to a blog or have a single "click to add" button on the event itself. Something needs to be done for it to be 100% functional the way you intend it to be. That would greatly increase the functionality of the events for moderators of multiple groups or events that a club wants to participate in as a whole.

    This is an interesting idea. We haven't thought much about multi-club events. We're going to be taking another look at certain features on Motortopia and finding ways to improve them. We'll definitely keep this in mind. Thanks for bringing it up.

    It's just a thought because I wasn't aware that the events had been updated...put an event out on the main events, but didn't do it from a club page...got a club that would participate in it as well as a group that I'm the founder and moderator for. That's two seperate groups that I'm a member of and both should be able to list it on their page...

    Should be a relatively easy add-on. The framework is pretty much already in place (in other parts of the site) and it shouldn't be too hard to write it for the events page too...

    I've got a lot of other ideas too (I suggested them on the moderators club forums, but no response so far...) but this is the "pressing" issue right now for me. The event I want to promote is May 31st... smile image Not to put any pressure on you guys or anything...hehe... wink image
