Whenever I hit the "My Garage" button, I get that dreaded message that "Internet Explorer is unable... " etc. I've had this problem for several months now and Motortopia's server seems unable or unwilling to help me out with the problem. I've added several cars and albums since the problem started, but I haven't been able to rearrange them to the order I want them to be in. I want to feature my '66 Corvair but the most recent car I posted, a Triumph TR3A that I had part ownership of back in my teenage years, is the photo that comes up on the album (I've been able to look in on my garage through my wife's account).Does anyone have any ideas what can be done so that I can get back into my garage? (The cars have to be getting dusty by now, and I really should start them all up and let them run for a while...

Jim,
We're on it.Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Hmmm... Change my password... Sounds so screwy that it just might work! I'll give it a shot. I've had the same password ever since I've been on Motortopia, so I guess it's time I changed it anyhow! Thanks for the suggestion.

Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. I have a shiny new password that STILL won't let me into my garage! What the heck, it was worth a shot. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Once in a while I have problems, too. It usually starts with everything moving very slowly, taking a while for a given page or photo to come up. Then, eventually, I get the "spinning wheel" showing the computer is trying to bring up the page or photo, but nothing happens. Then, today, everything worked fine on my garage, but when I try to check for messages, I get an "error" page on the screen. Often, when I have these problems, I'll go to other websites in hopes that after a little time, the problem will correct itself. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. but when the other websites are working fine and quickly, I know the problem isn't on my end.
I like Motortopia a lot, it's my favorite website. But it makes me wonder if some of us are having these problems (I had others tell me they experience similar problems), are we losing some members and participation as a result?Even a fool, when he keeps his peace, is counted wise.

FYI we did a major database upgrade yesterday, we have found and fixed a few quirks since then. If you see anything not working right just drop us a message on the "contact us" form, linked at the bottom of every page. Thanks!Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
