   I did a basic search for the words "powder coat" and the following results were returned:
   
   Your search for “powder coat” found 16 items — 14 cars, 1 part, 1 blog.
   
   I own the #1 "Most Popular" Business Group on motortopia, the Phoenix Specialty Coatings Business Group. My business is a custom powder coating shop. It has enjoyed its #1 Most Popular distinction for well over 2 years now, but the group has been in existence for much longer than that.
   
   I frequently run monthly specials in my blog "News" items which always contain the words "powder coat." Yet the search returned only one of those blogs, from October of 2009!
   
   My Garage contains photo albums replete with dozens of powder coating work samples. Yet no reference to me or My Garage appeared in the search results either. Only 14 cars with powder coating on them somewhere, one powder coated part, and my year-old blog post are shown.
   
   A few months back I was approached about my shop formalizing an advertising agreement with motortopia by way of paid banner ads.
   
   Forgive my candor, but if my potential customers must rely on motortopia's wholly inadequate search function to be able to locate me or my Business Group when they need the services I provide -- and how could they with search results like those? -- then why would I be inclined to spend my limited advertising dollars on a rotating banner ad most people won't even look at?

   Not sure if this helps but if you click on the red search tab at the top of most pages (on the right side) then type "powder" in the search line and check groups then search you come right up.
   
   This may not be what you are talking about, but perhaps it is.

   You're right Jerry, thanks. That makes me feel a little better. :-)
   
   But I would still think it would bring up ALL search results containing every reference to the term when I choose to view "All" results, not just specific particular categories. I always use the tags; just wish they worked better.
