More on "Hoagies": The first hoagies were made at a deli who's main source of customers was the workers on their lunch hour from the Hog Island Ship Yard in Philadelphia in the late 19th century. The sandwich was originally called a "Hoggie" after the ship yard, but that eventually became "Hoagie" because of the bad connotations associated with "eating" and "hog"!CORVAIR: When you care enough to drive the vairy best!
