   Hey all. I found this site as I was researching a rumor of a bandit run. Does anyone know the date of the 2012 bandit run, and will it be the same route as the 2011 run?

   Hello: I help to organize the Bandit Run. I just wanted to let you know that the dates have not been announced yet. This year it was in April but it is traditionally in May. I spoke with sponsor Dave Hall the other day and I think we will be announcing dates soon. The 2012 route is Texarkana, TX to Atlanta, GA in honor of the 35th anniversary of the movie. It is always a great time. Hope you can join us. deb

   Well after 5 years, once again, i will be planning on attending. Maybe this will be the year If i can be of any help in Mississippi, let me know.

   I'll be making the trek as well man. If I can't find a suitable co-pilot.. my dad might be taging along with me again.. I guess that would be fitting.. It started with him and I.on the original 'Run.. so might as well relive it.

   I don't know the route so I map quested it. I think its a bit eery its 666 miles from texarkana to atlanta LOL

   That is a little erie....I am hoping to be able to make it next year. It will depend on the dates.
