Hey eveyone, please chime in on this one.
I have a company car that's my daily driver. But, they are making up dumb rules about it and IDK if we will have this benifit for too much longer.
So I need a car I can drive on the weekends and that compliments my personality.
I am a 27 year old single white guy that's ex military and I love to drive fast.
I love Chevey and most all the pony/muscel cars from 65-75.
I am not big on Ford or Dodge but, I respect them.
So far my choices are.
1975 Corvette Sting Ray
1981 Corvette
1998 Corvette
1967 GTO
1967-69 Chevelle SS
Or I could buy a project Camaro 67-69.
I need any car I get to have the option to drive daily for up to 3 months if I change jobs.
It doesn't have to be cherry because I love to learn and want to restore.
Other thoughts are used...
2005 RX8 (but I decided I don't know about the rotoray)
2004 BMW Z4 (cost of ownership? repairs?)
First choice is 75 Sting Ray. How will it drive/ride? it is very low.
Please advise.Chevy Muscel

A little more info. My Grandpa (who's in his 80's) has an auto repair shop with all the tools needed and a lift. He drives a 2008 Corvette, and I am sure he'll let me use the shop/tool and give help.
My Dad is a certified mechanic who loves old cars and will help out a lot but he is disabled.
I want this to be a car all of us will love and we can spend time with each other and my 7 year old son, while working on it.
I am not afraid to put major work and $$$ in.Chevy Muscel

I guess nobody has an opinion. yeah right!
Anyway, After talking to my Grandpa and Dad I am looking into a Used Corvette around 2000 for under $14K. I want a C5 that rides like Grandpa's.
Will post in garage when purchased.
Thanks,

Get a 66-67 Chevelle or Nova. Put a V6 in it with a one barrell. Get a good running motor that is economical and make a sleeper. Keep it good on gas and you work on the body as you go. Keep a motor on a stand (502) for the future. -
