Does your Denali have anything like auto adjusting shocks? We had a '94 Caprice wagon with air shocks in the back that pumped up or down depending on the load, which eventually sprung a leak. We never got that same message you are getting, but "ride control" makes me think it's suspension and computer related. Does it maybe have all wheel drive too?
More than likely some sensor is failing and taking it to a dealership won't tell you much. Seems the diagnostic computers won't find a problem unless you notice something wrong with your truck and it's doing it while the computer is hooked up to it.
Did a search on google and got several forum posts. You're not the only one. One guy said that light came on after a tire rotation. Another person said to look in the owners manual for any schedule maintenance at or around 50,000 miles. All wheel drive was mentioned too.

Hi T,
Thanks for the reply, I'm some where around 65,000 now & yes it has all wheel drive & it has air adjust shocks. I used to hear the pump come on when i first would start it up but now I don't hear the pump anymore & it's not raising either when weight is added.
I did do a diagnostic with a computer & it was of no use. I purchased a manual on the truck but in a small paragraph it briefly mentions ride control acknowledging it's existance LOL but no word on how to service it or if it is serviceable.
I'm going to read the info on the link you sent to see if theres any info there
