I have a 1946 chevy pickup with a straight six and a six volt system. When I originally took the truck over the engine was stuck. I put some Marvel mystery oil down the cylinder walls and it freed up. I have replaced the points, plugs ,condenser, plug wires and coil as well as the fuel pump. I have had the timing checked and I am not sure where to go from here. It seems to get fuel and spark but wont start, any ideas? -

I would check the comp. Maybe a blown head gasket, Iv seen them be blown and not mix oil with water before.
I would also try the exhuast if you have not pulled it off. I have seen grass, dirt dobers and so on be stuck up in there and not let the truck fire up. But it would really really have to be stopped.
More then likly its low comp.
To me its not about winning or losing. Its about the Race!
