I drain my tank off ever time I put the truck up but i just put an extra dump on it. I used one of my older valves from a set i replaced. I also replace all valves at the same time and save my spares and date them with a sharpie. last thing i need is to be stuck somewhere without parts. And you will learn you just cant go down to autozone to repair your air ride.

Drag it or keep it on the trailer.
