Hey guys. I have a 2000 Camaro with an LS1 and trying to decide which mod to do next. I'm stuck between SFCs and LCAs or pacesetter longtubes. Price would be about the same either way....I have everything needed to do the headers, including a tsp catted Y but haven't bought the actual headers yet. I'm interested in UMIs 3 point SFCs.
I'm looking for some answers from those who have done these mods already on their f body, or throw an opinion if you want. The car is mostly stock with a couple bolt ons--check the garage. I know the cars body should handle the stress at this stage, but I'm thinking about the long run for the frame. Its also young with around 50k miles.
Also, has anyone done poly engine mounts and plugs/wires while installing headers ? worth it?

Personally, I'd do the SFC first. Like you say, it's a preservation thing as much as anything else. after that I'd do the longtubes. They make a LS motor sound great. After that it depends on what you're doing with the car, Drag race, autocross/track events or just cruising?
