Drip Mouldings are available for the second gen... plastic stick ons ... There were some earlier metal designs... Both would probably work and they were both of a singular one piece design. Check with your preferred vendor ... most carry the the plastic drip mldgs.
hope this helps!

The plastic clip on Drip Rails were also at one time available from GM, but I can't tell you how many times I had to replace those things when they either cracked from weather exposure, or lost their grip, and came flying off as I was driving along.

true enough they do not weather well ... but to cure the fly off issue use a clear 2 sided tape to edge of rail about halfway on underside of roof and allow the channel of the plastic to fold over onto outer roof rail as you install. I have the same ones on for about 3 years with no fly off problem!Ponchofreek

I came up with a better cure, when the car was redone, I had the bolt on metal Drip Rails installed. No more fly offs

I don't know package the dealer included in the order form that got stainless steel ones on my '78 when I got it new but this string of emails makes me glad said dealer ordered what he did 10-4. Course the '79 don't have any but ... oh well.
