    i recently rebuilt my ls1 engine and now i have no oil preasure on idle i was wondering what would cause this

    you sure the gauge is hooked up right?

    there is only one was to hook up a stock guage right? and that is the two wire plug on the backside of the intake right? well i just rebuilt the engine new cam lifters and pushrods oil pump and the is only about 3 puonds on idle and about 20 while under a load the motor has a ticking in the top half so i pulled the vavle covers off today and made sure everything as far as the rockers and all of that were good well there was not very much oil up in the at all so i now have low oil psi and still a ticking
