Frank, Tony and myself had a GREAT time!
We had no gripes about the scheduled events, though, the only thing that we wished for was COOLER weather!
Not all of us had A/C....
2 days in one hotel is a great idea.
We like the idea of going through the Carolina's and head North/East. VA Beach sounds like a GREAT idea!
We could even do the Blue Ridge Parkway!!
If that is the case, then May and June are good months to go. Or a fall run would also be nice.
As far as timing with school. If we do a Northern run, then the 2nd or 3rd week of June would probably work for all.
That's just my opinion though.

Debbie, Dave and the rest of the staff responsible for this years Run... Jacki and I were only able to join in the fun at the Jupiter stop, but we had a great time at the Bandit Bash, a fun time crusing the Turnpike towards Orlando, fun driving around the Disney speedway and a Hoop Dee Doo of a time at the show in Ft Wilderness Thursday evening. We stayed an extra night and also squeezed in the Friday evening cruise at Old Town with a few other Bandit Runners.
We both like the idea of a run from GA heading East through the mountains and then on to one of the beaches. We also like the idea of two night stays at the hotels to allow for some local cruising and car shows.
Whatever you all plan though, you can count us in.
Kudos to all of you for planning such a great event and such a fun time!!!

Sharlae and I had a great time on beach run. I suggest an Ozark run.. Arkansas with mountain roads and Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO.
Love the 2 night stay in daytona.. hated the lovebugs and stop lights in all those small towns.Ahhhh Eeeee!!

This year's run was an amazing event from the planning to the people who participated. It's a privilege to spend a week with the Bandit Runners. The hotels were ready for us and seemed to appreciate us being there. The venues were large enough and accomodating. I think this was a very good trip.
The only thing that didn't work too well was the drive through Port St Lucie. If we had gone straight over to the interstate from a1a and missed the last batch of stop lights and traffic it would have saved my clutch a lot. But the route was well planned and we didn't change during the trip--this is a major kudo.
I know Year One is a major player and starting or ending in Brasselton is part of the run. But if we started or ended in Lincoln it would open up a whole new set of venues and routes. There are lots of good routes up and down the coast but it seems like the western crew ends up driving a lot of extra miles every year.
Thanks to all the folks who worked so hard to make this happen.
Sorry we had to run at the end without saying goodbye to everyone. We made it to Lexington an hour ahead of schedule and the wedding went very well. What a week!!!.
Hope to see a lot of you at Nationals.GTO Stan

As others have said I want to thank all the behind the scenes work that was done for this run. You could tell there was a lot of effort put forth in the details. It seems the word is getting out as the hotels and some of the venues really made it feel like we are part of something special.
Suggestions:
I would also like to see it happen first part of June as Christie Jo is a teacher and I work in the school setting myself.
Less hotel breakfast buffets, I can barely fit my clothes
no that was great!
I would not want to change anything about how we communicate in car with CB radios, it's great fun and obviously part of the whole experience. However sometimes things happen when we're not in our cars that leave you feeling lost. This year we went to Indiantown for some serious lovebug removal, and barely made it to the Bandit Bash because we left earlier than expected. Would it be possible to set up a bandit it run group through text messaging where, when things like that happen a simple text could be sent to the group?
We also enjoyed the two night stay, getting up and on the road lets us see as much country as possible, but it does wear you down.
Destinations; This years run was so different than last years, the variety is awesome! Vegas, Grand Canyon............the possibilities are endless

We have had limited participation in the runs, mostly because of the date. My sons and I went to Atlanta for the Year One Event in 2008. But couldn't leave early because of school finaIs. I wanted to go in 2007 but that was the year my oldest daughter graduated high school.
Went to Branson for the 2009 start but had to be back to get my younger daughter aka "Amanda_Camaro" back for finals at school. Went on a 30th anniversary cruise THIS year (had no money left). Also my wife is a teacher and has to be around for end of the school year "stuff".
But we have enjoyed the small parts of the run that we have been able to make! Won't be able to make 2011 if the dates don't change as that is Amanda's senior year and graduation. Maybe when everyone is out of the house....I can go. 1979 Trans Am Y84 Black & Gold SE

For all you non-Floridians
Travel with Bounce (or any dryer fabric sheets) they work GREAT for getting our LoveBugs off. Much better than anything else we've ever tried.
By-the-way they were GONE the day after Disney.

First of all, THANK YOU TO DEBBIE, DAVE, MICHELLE, MARK and all the resy of the organizers for a truly great job in getting this event going and keeping it on track. i know it's like hurding cats getting everyone together.
I made it home last night after 5 days of driving through Florida, Alabama, Mississppi, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. Put on 6858 miles from garage to garage. The car ran great except for the tach cable which gave out with about 100 miles laft in the trip. Went through every kind of weather from hot sun, wind, tornado warning, hail, rain and snow.
As far as suggestions are concerned, a run in the mid west would certainly appeal to me (for obvious reasons). I enjoyed everything about the trip this year, but found with so many people in it, I didn't get to meet everyone. That's the way it is, though.
I hope to go again next year, but it is a ways away yet & scheduling & $$ will have to be looked after.
Thanks again to all who put this together.
cheers

Hey Dave,
Christie Jo said you still owe her two beers! j/k It was great to meet you and it's just awesome you drive that far! Told numerous people "Yeah well we met this guy from Canada that drove over 6,000 miles" Certainly builds curiosity, or it least proves there are people crazier than us who only drive 3,000 lol.
