I missed having a specific car show at the end... that's my only thought. It is good to have a car event at the end. Seems to finalze the run.
Can't wait for next year! Hope to see most of ya throughout the year again this year!
I agree with a finally of some sort, maybe a car show and a dinner banquet at the host hotel to follow; where we can sit down together as a group and have a closing ceremony. Ending at the track both years was sort of odd, no closure and now I am going through Kubler Ross' stages of grief: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. I'll be okay and completely over it next year when driving to the starting location of the Bandit Run 2011
Any day above ground is a GOOD day!!!

All I can say that I wouldn't miss on next years run is scrubbing the gazillion lovebug kamakaze strikes off my windshield hood and bumper. (I understand there was no way of knowing when they come out so I'm not blaming anyone. )
Other than that all the planning that went into this really paid off and I applaud everyone involved. Thanks for your hard work.
Love bugs come out in florida in may and sept. and last for 2 or 3 weeks
#33 Jul 20, 2010 at 11:07 amI have yet to attend the Bandit Run for one reason or another...mainly school and financial obligations prior to NOT KNOWING about it. (Geez...how did I NOT know about this?!)
But I think a Va. Beach run would be perfect. Biltmore, Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, Grandfather Mountain, down Highway 58 through the Va Mountains after a nice drive down the Parkway, and ending up in Virginia Beach. There's a club in Virginia called the Tidewater Trans Am Club, too, and we could end up at Norfolk, VA.
As for lovebugs, I hope everyone's cars came clean. I have permanent damage on my Tuscaloosa-born Bird....those things can do some serious damage!
Here's hoping I can come on next year's Run!
Bethany, with my Beautiful GTA...
