Hey, everyone--
After missing last year's Bandit Run (I didn't make the inaugural 2007 but did attend 2008 through 2010), I'm chompin' at the bit to get going on the 2012 'Run.
Helping to fuel that fire is going back over photographs I have on previous Runs. I thought it would be fun for all of us to post our favorites...there are two guidelines:
1) You or someone in your immediate group took the photograph
2) Maximum ten per person on all BRs you attended
Here are two of my favorites from the 2009 BR:
Taken by Kevin Morgan (my passenger) the morning we were lined up to leave Hot Springs, AR

Taken by yours truly at Southside Steve's outside of Atlanta...Bandit Runners doing what they do best, havin' a great time!!

Don't be shy, let's see those photographs!!

Tail grabbing Canadian Dave in the first Tinman's photo AND ...
Shaker and Ronnie "don't hit the wall" Winningham in the 2nd photo (you had to be at Gresham's last year to realize just how close Ronnie came to the wall - just ask Bobby of NY, he can tell ya)
Dang Tinman... you've dusted the cobweb's off those. Lemme see what I can find...

Last year was my first Bandit Run, and even though I only went as far as Mt Vernon Ill.' I still got some memorable pictures to share.
Who's tail-grabbin WHO'S ass?

Makin' some damn good time going through Nebraska, with Shaker on my tail!

Shaker overtaking me as we are going down I29.

"Snowman, comin' around ya!"

At the KC track.

A bunch of thirsty Trans Ams!

All gassed up and ready to head back out on the highway.

This is one of my favorite pictures!

I was very happy to get a picture with Ron. It serves as a reminder of making new friends on the Bandit Run!

I just liked how the lighting worked out for this picture while we were parked in Mt. Vernon.

Thanks for sharing, Leon, great photos! I met and spent quite a bit of time with Shaker on my first run in 2008, it's an honor to count him among my friends...the photo of your instrument cluster is impressive. Temp is holding steady and oil pressure looks good!
Okay, everybody. Where are your snapshots?

Thanks Tinman, I'm always happy to share my pictures with interested folks.
About the car, it has been a great car for all the time I've owned it.
I contribute it's well being to treating it right with maintainance when needed, not over-abusing it, and that huge 4 row radiator it came with as a factory option.
That car can site in 90* weather with the A/C on while still maintaining its cool.
The 2:56 rear I put in it several years ago make the high speed driving a treat.
I was still getting 18 MPG during last years Bandit Run, which I didn't think was too bad, for what it is.

Thanks for sharing Leon! Wow - great photos! And thanks for the comments Tinman... I'm ready to "practice" the run again!
I had to go back and add some captions to my photos just so everyone would know what year and what was happening, etc... Enjoy!"Ready to Roll Roy?"
