   I left Atlanta at 6:30 AM Sunday morning and rolled into my garage around 10:30 PM...TONS of rain in Alabama and the car took a beating but got home safe. Had to leave James and Debra in their Heritage brown with SolarGold, but stayed in touch to make sure all was well.
   
   Great times this past week, I'm looking forward to all the posts.

   We had to leave after Nashville ,(problems at home). Sorry we miss the the rest of the trip . Had a great time,loved meeting everybody and seeing all the sites.Already planning next year . See ya then

   WOW what a week...I m exhausted-I did not know so much fun could wear me out so much. Oh well I think I am just getting "OLD"-UGH!!!
   
   With weather pending on Saturday left out for Raleigh NC Saturday morning.
   
   Fried new clutch on Atlanta Dragway on Friday night. Only made one pass as time only permited. Hooked in first, second a different story all the way down the track 6500 rpms till thrid and it hit good still turned 12.966 with 112.81 mph. I should be in the 11's. Oh well back to working on the Dragon "again". By the way went up against a Nissan 240z with a Toyota Supra turbo motor in it. Representing us well as I did beat the turner he did 16.265 in the 1/4 miles at 102.31 mph.
   
   Had an absolute Blast last week the car held up well and preformed very well-she made me proud!

   The wife,grandson and I made it back on Wednesdsy. I was the outsider driving the charger Daytona. I got some thums up from some Runners, as I had my TA plate in on front.
   I hope to make it next year in my 97 if I can fix the oil leak, or my 81SE if I can finish the LS1 conversion, nevertheless had a blast the 2 days.. I dragged the grandson along now he wants to drive it when he turns 16.
   
   See ya next Year hopefully Dave starts the run next year from FT Worth/Dallas Texas.

   Got both the 77 & 79 home, but the 77 still has no headlights. Gonna look at it again tonight. Was great meeting the folks we did.

   WE HAD A GREAT TIME! SEEING SOME FAMILIAR FACES AND MEETING SOME NEW POEPLE. REALLY INJOYED THE RIDE ON FRIDAY COMMING THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS, AND THE WELCOME FROM YEAR-ONE WE ACTUALY HAD A FRONT WHEEL BEARING GO OUT ON THE WAY HOME IN SOUTH CAROLINA, AFTER 3 HRS GOT BACK ON THE ROAD AND ARRIVED HOME BY 6:00 SUNDAY.    Well, I cheated (live 26 miles from Year One - drove 1,956 total miles not counting Saturday). I got home around 11pm Saturday night after dinner at the Tex-Mex place after the Lanier Raceway experience. I really enjoyed this week! It was great to see everyone from last year and meet some new folks this year! I had a great time with the Buford T Justice crew and the Loon and solar gold, and donny hayes, and Cattail... and ... and ... I can't name you all!
   
   If you haven't seen Loon's video of the Dragon's tail, check it out! Only a Cactusloon could produce such a video! LOL!!
   
   Sorry to hear that James had trouble. Great car, great folks! Let us know if we can assist!

   Yeah lets do this atleast 4 times a year. lol...Honestly I wouldn't be able to afford it more then once a year. It was a good time, I put more miles (2160 miles) on this trip then I put on my car in the last 7 months lol...and this is my only vehicle. Anyhow, thanks guys for a nice trip!

    That was a great trip made it home no problems. Big thanx to all the people who put the run on this year. Also like to say hi to all the Bandit runners yall are a great bunch of folks!
