   the only one who hasn't cleaned their car after the run. We got home pulled it in the garage and haven't touch it since. But I have been busy with life, finding a job (got a interview today @ 4:30 ), and finishing setting up my business.
   
   But now I HAVE to get to it. Got a car show at Carowinds Amusement Park this weekend for Fathers Day. Actually need to clean both cars, as we enterd them both.
   
   Heck, I havent driven or messed with either of my Pontiacs since the run.

   Yes Mark......You are required as a fellow bandit runner to a least wash the outside of the t/a before the next car show...... (good luck on the interview)

   Hey Rick, we got new posters to sit in front of the cars too. On the TA were pushing the BR. They have a class for S&TB cars. The Bonne is in the survivor class.
   
   I don't think I'll get the underside of the TA washed. I put about 3 qts of oil in it on the run. It's got to be nasty under there. I REALLY need to fix the rear main seal leak.
   
   Well it's 4:37 and no call yet.
   
   Edit: 6.19pm: The phone interview went well. Going in next week for a second interview.

   I just got the call for my 2nd interview. Tuesday the 23rd @ 2pm.
   
   So far I got the TA washed and waxed. Just need to do the inside and underhood. Phew is it ever hot out.

   Fantastic news about the interviews, Mark! You've got a lot of Bandit Runners pulling for you, please keep us posted.
   
   I was able to get the '76 cleaned up the weekend after "the Run", but she took a beating on the mechanicals and needs a few repairs.
   
   Just ordered a new set of leaf springs from Ames on Friday, still need to do some more tweaking to the exhaust, the A/C compressor is dead, and I'm leaking Dextron II so the transmission needs attention.
   
   Other than that, she's great!!

   Hope the job hunt goes well, you guys deserve the best.
   
   I beat you on the car clean up by a couple of weeks. Our middle son was married over Memorial Day and drove the Trans Am away from the church. The car made them both smile and left the church in a hurry.
   
   We drove the GTO to Dayton to meet Dennis and 2500 other people on the power tour. The power tour is unbelievable. The Bandit Run is a lot more fun.
   
   Now we're working on the GTO for a show at a VA hospital this weekend and the GTO/POCI Nationals coming up in a couple of weeks. I'll be doing a lot of the early GTO popular vote tech inspections. We're looking forward to a couple of good weekends.
