Plan on leaving S.C. on Saturday morning and get in Branson late Saturday evening. Anybody fitting that schedule and wants to blaze the trail together, drop me a line! 70-80 mph range is about all I plan on driving........with unexpected "spurts" here and there!

Thanks Ron, I just thought it would be great to see who is going and what they are driving ahead of time. I would like to see a list of Hotels soon ( hint, hint Dave / Red ) so people can start planning and figuring out the costs will be ahead of time.

#33 Apr 5, 2009 at 2:35 pmI want to run the whole thing however I'm taking the last of my vacation the week before the bandit run. It's a family get together so there is no getting out of it. I'll have just enough time to run from branson down to hot springs with you guys. I have a 77 that isn't done yet so I'll be in a red 01 ws6

#36 Apr 9, 2009 at 8:29 pmGreetings from East Tennessee !!!!!!
Susan and I are looking forward to our second BR !!! We had a BLAST last year and enjoyed making FAST friends with fellow T/A owners. I sold the car I drove last year and purchased a 'proper' 1978 Black SE 400/4sp with the joys/agony of T Tops. We are fortunate that, again, the BR will drive through our neck of the woods. Susan's brother, David Caterino, is flying out from San Diego and will be riding shotgun with me !! She will driving our truck with all the creature comforts not available in 1978.
Looking forward to seeing friends from last year and making more !!!!!

I am sorry to hear that.
Without gettting into to much negativity here.
If you are able to do this run, you really need to , I really believe there will be media caverage this year, you never know what is at the top or the hour though.
But really we are going along way and we will be noticed..we will be going through some small towns and large that really need to see something positive.
You all will soon know we are doing something for our country here,,,think of it as your patriotic duty.. What would bandit do it for...The money ? the Glory or just to show off ?
You will soon know im not just rambling.
