Not to step on toes either....but....what if we were to do two legs of the Bandit Run?

Smokey and the Bandit 1- Texarkana to Atlanta again...just like in 07!
(TA Matt and I could help organize this leg)
then...
Smokey and the Bandit 2- Atlanta to Fla
(Red takes lead on this)

People could choose to do either leg...and jump in wherever they want.

I'm getting really antsy not being able to be part of this whole thing again due to work....I may have to quit so I can get back on board...!!!

Thats a great idea for future runs maybe 2012 but reverse the group from Floria to Ga. maybe a reunion run and add another leg from the North.

Thanks for the support tamatt... You are right about Smokey and the Bandit and a huge connnection to Jupiter Fl among OTHER things of course i cannot comment any further right now as Year One and Restore a Muscle car are reviewing plans for the best routs in Florida.
MANY people will appreciate the run next year we are bound to bring many smiles and warm greetings and we can do our best to "show off "

I like the S&B I and II route option. Gives me a reason to get away from work for 2 weeks

I know the dates are reflected by the movie release, but any chance we could work out a route at the end of May after 2011? My wife and kids want to come but she teaches and the kids are in school. I am sure others are affected too. This is a great family event and I believe would be even bigger given the option.

Any day above ground is a GOOD day!!!

JWF and I were discussing the route thing... and looks to me if we run to Florida we get to do more of a run by coming back up from Florida. Just more fun cruising with the Runners... Copy?
It'll be Bandit Run X 2... Twice the run and twice the fun for those headed back north that is!.. Looks like I'll need to take off a week and a half MINIMUM!

We do a reunion run...one from Texarkana to Atlanta. The other coming up from Florida to Atlanta?

I'm going to be bold this next year and ask off for the time so we can go again! Worst they can do is say 'you're fired'....then, hey, I could go anyway! ha
