I was wondering how many cars will have CB's? I thought it might be fun so I thought about installing mine but don't want to hassle with it if no one else is going to use one. Let me know, Jason

That's a great idea...I might go by and pick up a handheld version for my 77...would be very cool to do the 'old school chatting' along the way! Anyone else game?

channel 19 is still used by the truckers, so I recommend we stay with that. I have my old CB ready also.

Or let me suggest a truck stop. They sell radios, antennas, etc. Also, don't forget your local pawn shop, they have new and used ones also. Mine is temporarily wired under the dash with an magnetic CB antenna. I use a plastic sandwich baggy under the magnet to insure no paint scratches and I can put the antenna in the trunk very quickly and easily.

I agree. That is good info. I'm doing the temporary thing also. Jason

      Hi all,

I'll have one also. I picked up a hand held CB and a magnet exterior antenna to go on the trunk lid. Thanks for the sandwich bag info Tyler so it won't scratch the paint... I was wondering what I could do to prevent that...
