Why are the Lakewood Fairgrounds in such poor shape? It's hard too believe the grandstands have deteriorated that much without being demolished or redeveloped. Thanks, Willy. -

on the TAC board's....many grown men said they almost were brought to tears....almost.... it's funny how just a little time changes some things and others still look they same. The (road block) scene with the old buildings.... looks just like yesterday (kinda) Again Tyler and Greg.... I may have put it together in video format....but I can only imagine how much time it took to visit all the sites... then snap new pictures to line up with the old scene stills from the movie....go visit http://www.at...w/newlist.htm and check out even more shoots and much more info about each scene....www.thebanditrunphotos.com

Lakewood has gone downhill for years. The only thing left there now is the HiFi Buys Amphitheatre, that is used for outdoor concerts. The Classic Car race track was originally a horse track.
I talked with Dave Hall today about the bandit run 2008. The plan as of now will include another movie tour on Sunday morning. The tour is optional. Later on I will need a list of anyone interested in going. Of course, plans made this early are subject to change. We had a blast last year!!!God Bless, Tyler

GREAT JOB!!! I just watched it and I must say I got chills and my throat was all choked up. It was great to see the before and after shots.
The Bandit Run 2008 will be here before you know it. If I can swing it for the 2008 Bandit Run, I'll be there. I'll do the Movie Tour again also. Once isn't enough...

I missed the movie locations this year because we had to leave in order to get home at a decent time. Is there anyway that the tour could be done later on that sat?Keep it between the ditches!!!
