I came across this site while looking for some reference pictures for my 81 Trans Am. This site just made me cry. Take a look at it and you'll appreciate your car and hard work a whole lot more. Jason

PS.(Anybody have a picture of the way the t-tops are secured in the trunk of a 79-81 Trans Am?)

i dont have a pic but all u do is put them in the bags .
assuming u have the correct spare that is in the upper right of your trunk
The tops just lay in the trunk on the left from front to back the tire must be(tightly) in its correct spot to do this.
      There r no tie downs

Seems like I remembered a strap or something on my 79 but that could of been my 91. Seems like there should be some kind of a strap or something because there going to be sliding around when I'm sliding sideways on the side of the road aiming for the mail boxes wink image
