I was sad to hear he had passed away. I have always been a big fan of Smokey and the Bandit. I also love country music. He was 71. We will miss you Jerry, rest in peace.

I would have loved to have met him as well. BanditGirl was able to meet him years back.. and said he was prob the most down to earth guy in the business.. funny as hell... he will be missed. -Geno (AKA MacGyver)

RIP Jerry Reed a legend in his own right his songs even reached people in the UK I'm sad I will never meet the man but as a lover of his work we can keep the legend living my kids will love Smokey and the Bandit and so will their's. Jerry Reed you will be missed but never forgotten! God Bless2nd place is the 1st loser!
