I know what you're talking about, you look at the mileage and just go.... eesh, sure hope she makes it again. haha I cheated in '10 when I flew to GA and hitched around the whole run, but last year and '09 I stared at some pretty big numbers too. It will be great meeting you!keep it easy

Yeah, the first 2 years weren't so bad, I was a lot closer.. but now that I am on the other coast.. not only will I have to drive all the way to get there.. but the run ends 666 miles further for the way back.. lol. Hmm.. 666.. wonder if that should trouble me.. eh.. you only live once, right? Might as well enjoy what I have when I can.
I actually considered buying a 2nd gen and having it shipped to TX and fly there and drive it home.. but I dunno if thats really feasable either.. lol -Geno (AKA MacGyver)

Mac--
At last count we should have a minimum of five cars (eleven people) meeting up around noon in McKinney (including your dadand you).
Looking forward to it, but be advised the forecast is for rain. Bring duct tape for the t-tops.

Hope you found it in Black.
I had to advise my wife not to use all my black duck tape so i'd have some left for the run.
Ya'll drive safe and take care of our Australian buddy on the way over to East Texas.
