Ok gang here is your opportunity to chime in. What did you like? What didn't you like? Where can we improve? Do you know of an awesome scenic drive we should consider? So far suggestions I received on the run include: Blue Ridge Parkway-Land Between the Lakes-Badlands of South Dakota-staying at one central location with day trips from the same hotel...
Please give me some feedback. It helps me and Restore a Muscle Car in our planning. Personally I loved the Beau Rivage and Biloxi event. Also, loved the drive Saturday to the Dawsonville Museum. Especially loved Wayne's (Snowman's) quote when we got there: "You didn't tell me you were taking me to such a cool place."
So let's hear it Bandit Runners. We learn something new every year that helps us plan future events.

What a great trip. My wife is hooked and constantly quoting the CB talk and some of others unique impersonations made throughout the run. My only issue I had nothing to do with planning or destinations, only disappointed that we did not get into the Barber Museum and running the track was a little bit of a let down, but all in all I am not complaining.
One hotel with daily runs out and back is interesting. Beach seems to be a definite stop if possible as everyone seems to enjoy. Colorado to the Coors plant would be related to the movie and while up that way i would shoot for Mount Rushmore and be relative to Restore A Muscle Car as a start or stopping point. Never been to Vegas either. I am driving where ever you say.Any day above ground is a GOOD day!!!

As mentioned, the Barber Motorsports track was a HUGE let down, but thank God for Dan Elliott and Gresham Motorsports track!
That more than made up for any bad feelings from the night before!
This was the track time we all dream about doing!
Biloxi was a fantastic stop over.
The one thing I never understood about the voting on the Bandit cars in Biloxi, was how were the numbers given out to the cars?
I never got one, and several other didn't have a number displayed on their cars.
Where were these handed out?
Or were only a select few allowed to get a number?
Lack of communication on something like this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Are we all one big group, or are there little splinter groups that are only privy to certain things?
Just looking for answers, Thanks!
The chance to have Coors sponsor the Bandit Run points to a Colorado run, right?
RAMC would be a great kicking off point for a western tour of the Bandit Run.
I'm up for anything really, just point the way and I'm there!

Was great being back on the 'Run this year! Had a lot of fun, some really great activities. Barber was a little bit of a let down for the length of time and lack of achieving a decent speed... kind of thought it would be 1 slow lap to get to know the track, a medium lap, and then a final high speed one.. but was still fun to be on a road course.
A couple suggestions would be there seemed to be a slight lack of communication of the events, times, what was happening, etc. There were times several runners were asking around things like, "Ok, when do we have to be where?" or "What is going to be going on?" So maybe a meeting Monday morning with the group before we leave, walking through the whole weeks activities, would help.. that way if there was a question as to an address, or time we should meet where could be addressed then,
And it was also brought up by a few runners that it seemed in the last few years that events no longer have been keeping the group together, but to go do their thing, then meet up to leave together. This might be because this event has become so large and keeping a hundred cars together is not an easy thing, which I can understand. Just sharing what I heard.
Looking forward to next year, no matter where it is.

Larry mentioned Carlisle Pa........So i will Chime in.
For thoose of you who may not know Carlisle Events,
Heres a Link >>> http://www.ca...s.com/events/
Carlisle is very well known. Its huge....i think its a 120 acre Fairground.
Corvette Nationals
Chrysler Nationals
Ford Nationals
Gm Nationals
And other Events like the Spring Swap meet, and Fall Swap meet.
Some of these shows Bring about 100 thousand people (great exposure for RESTORE A MUSCLE CAR)
I think the GM show would be a Good Thought. I know that Carlisle Events Gm Nationals.....has become a Camaro Fest. We Can help change that.....And give Restore a Musclecar (Dave Hall) Great exposure.
Gettysburg battlefield is close, and you have the Amish in lancaster pa just a 40 min
Drive to the east.....and im sure other attractions...within driving distances.
the Gm show is a 3 day event......and i would think , it may be a trip where we stay at a location (1 hotel or 2 ) and do day trips, hang at carlisle, see the amish country..ect.
For Restore a Muscle Car........Dave & Michelle..... This would be a great opportunity to have probably ....50/60 thousand people Get a Glimpse of Restore a Muscle Car. You would have a chance to SELL yourself to your Core Customers.
SETUP shop for 3 days....Stay stationary.....and Sell sell sell.
You could have a Run for the Runners.....and ...Work the show at the same time, with huge exposure.(ill help Sell if you need me to Man the booth).
anyway....Larry got me thinkin...its his fault.
I may think of other locals....then post later.
p.s i did mention Carlisle Events Gm Show to Dave Hall....while on the run. He told me to have them Call him. I will call them 2day.

Sounds like a plan to me. I also told Canada Dave we should all come to him. He always has to drive to the US, maybe it's time we all went to Canada.
