What a great year this will be .
Last year as Restore a Muscle Car and i started to plan this years event.
Then a close friend and fellow Bandit Runner Debbie_C came along and ran with it.
She has been taking up alot of slack and needs a big THANKS !
Dave will be releasing some info soon so stay tuned.
Hotels are lined up thanks to Debbie_C and Dave of course at Restore a Muscle Car.
This year i think i will lay low
Well ill try to
I have to say there are many more Bandit Runners involved with the planning of the event and i think it will give us our best possible run.
i wont say who all has been involved you will have to see on the Run for yourself but anyhow THANKS to all of you for your hard work..Im not sure what to do this year...but have fun !
I will say it sounds like there is going to be a party bigger than the one at Nashville
So watch out Rick !
It also sounds like
Hotels may do more for us ..after all we are an attraction
Maybe more Police escorts..ya never know
Get those CBs tuned !

You had better be.
Your co pilot (Debbie_C) (has done most of the leg work this year .
Thanks for putting up with the constant phone calls Mark.
For those of you who dont know Marks car has the best story behind it he has owned it since before the movie release and drove it to Smokey and the Bandit and had no idea what was about to come on.Keep the phoenix flying

Well, we are almost ready Teddy!
Now I have another leak!!
I'm hoping the rear main seal will hold out till after the run!!
The new leak is the power steering hose. Kind of tough to get to though, per my husband!
Mark, from Rock Hill, make sure you get in touch with me to meet up!
You too Ron!

CYA,
I'm getting ready to change the rear main on my motor. It's been leaking on every run. I just checked the oil a lot. You'll be fine.
You won't regret this......................................................................................trust me

Don't worry Red we'll be there someway or another. After all the time I have put into this year's run, I have a much better appreciation for all the hard work you and Dave put in last year. I don't believe I thanked either of you enough.
You're right, Mark's car does have a great story. After all, he had his before Burt
When that movie came out, he was hot stuff in his small town. He and his girlfriend took it to the drive-in to see the movie. He was the only black TA there. Better believe it got some attention. The best part of the story is that 34 years later it still reels em in

Debbie, I am so glad you had time to help this year. I think it is great if fellow Bandit Runners are allowed to help if possible. It is a tremendous job for 1-2 people to try to plan, so the more the merrier. I know after our little experience last year that we are in good hands with the hotels, THANK YOU DEBBIE!!!!
Well, I am once again working, but, since we live in the Jupiter / West Palm Beach area, if there is something you need me to do or a call you need me to make, let me know. They are having a big car show next weekend out at the PBIR, we may take a ride out there, I can put a bug in their ear to give you a call and get us set if you want.
I changed my cell number, here is the new one: 561-319-7050
Trying to decide which car to bring this year since it is in our territory.Brenda
