i hope ill be able to make it. i have a few questions, my bandit seems to run hot, but the water temp guage says its right, its got a new water pump and radiator, should i be concerned? Also, when i first start it, and when i give it alot of gas, it squeaks pretty loud, and idk if its a power steering leak? is this common? thanks everyone wink image

The squeak on high rev is likely just a belt. On temp, if you changed water pump and radiator, I'd change the thermostat for prevention and check gauge if you think it is running hot.

Any day above ground is a GOOD day!!!

so it would be best just to replace all the belts?

The belts are just probably loose. You should just be able to tighten them to get rid of the noise.

Well it looks like I need to find a new seat cover. The girlfriend isn't done with school til the middle of May so she won't be able to make it this time again.

Yeah, with the dates they currently are talking about I know alot of people will either be pulling thier kids out of school early to attend the run or just skipping it all together.

I was really looking forward to attending the 2011 Bandit Run but things are not panning out with daughter in school and myself going to a School in VA the same time as the run. weepy image

How's this thing go back together???

The problem I have had the past 2 years was the date, I could make it but my wife could not. She is a preschool teacher and had graduation that week. My kids are in high school/college and had finals the same week and none of them could come. I think that was the same issue others had. Anytime before or after that particular week works for her, though the kids would have to stay back or miss a week of school (unless the end of May). I am fortunate to be flexible on the date so I am will be on the run regardless. What is funny is that in 2009 my wife could not wait to get me out of the house for a week to herself, now she is threatening to not let me go without her. For some reason she thinks I am having too much fun. The Bandit Run is addicting and I need my yearly fix dizzy image
