   Started the bird ...yesterday am, to dust the feathers. Smoke....(crap) from the headers.
   Take a look....i hv 2 oil leaks. 1 Appears to be my screws holdn the oilpan a bit loose...Cranked down on them. Next was my oil return line to the oilpan. That needed Serious Turnin. It backed out far enough... that it almost became an issue with my Clutch linkage. We had to make a wrench from thick steel, then buy a 11/4 inch wrench....modify IT... just to turn this 1 fitting. I used 3 wrenchs in all to crank it down 3-4 turns. I think , hope & a pray....im gona be dry now.
   
   Im so glad i took it for a 90 min cruise the other day. Gave the oil a chance to heat up and EXPOSE.......the dripy NOSE. OK were was i.......oh ya..... ok 6 pairs of shorts...na maybe 7 or 8. TEE Shirts .....Check........Sandals....Check......
   
   3 Days ......and WESTBOUND and DOWN.......First stop VICKSBURG Ms on Thursday May 10th.

   Oil leaks baddddd dont need anything dripping on hot headers or from the motor....keep all that horsepower inside that Beast.... crunch time is here,1 week from today , We be heading west also......
